To get it over with...
the yarn.
All from knit purl in Portland who have been really friendly and helpful with the whole transaction - I purchased everything online and they brought it to my husband's hotel... and now you know how it's possible to let your husband fill his suitcase with the prettiest yarns for you ;-)
The possibilities to combine them are endless, even more endless (having 22 skeins of Koigu on hand makes you think there simply must be a comparative degree of endless) when you find out two skeins (and not four!) can be enough for one Chevron Scarf! I will close this shameless posting here and will write a sober one about decent and cheerful scarf knitting afterwards.
Have a good day/evening.
i am drooling over that yarn - so beautiful!!! i like socks that rock... but there is part of me that wishes i had chosen koigu for my chevron scarf!

They look like mating caterpillars. Your husband is a great sport to bring home so much yarn; and what a fabulous shop that would deliver right to his hotel! I like the looks of the light purple with the darker purple (with a touch of ochre). But that's just me -- all the combos look fabulous.

sigh. Thanks for posting the pictures. I doubt I'll ever be getting Koigu so I'm always happy to see it laid out like that. Who knows? Maybe someday I'll break down and get some!
