these are so beautiful. i love seeing each stitch.
some exquisite about the fabric and simple stitchwork.

i love simple. something i need to find again.

and nice to 'see' you again. :)

Lee

Simple is good , kind to the eye and soul.
Amazing how those few stitches add just the right amount of texture.
Keep creating, the momentum will follow.

diana

With your eye for detail, you'll find the charm in your new neighbourhood. I'm sure.
Wünsche die eine gute Eingewöhnung!

It's great to restart like that, back to basics!

nicole

Perfect Wabi Sabi spirit! I love the simplicity.

I'm yearning for more of this too.

Thank you for the inspiration.

monica

simplicity is about subtracting the obvious and adding the meaningful

Couldn't agree with you more... I used to wait around for the right moment too, but have been making efforts to break that habit. Now I try to create what I feel like creating when the mood strikes... not worrying about having adequate skills... or materials... just working with what I've got. The challenge is striking a compromise with that perfectionist within.

annri

The ever-elusive "right moment" - I'm practicing not waiting too. The coasters are perfect in the beautility (beauty+utility) and wabi-sabi nature. It's good to hear from you again!

Jennifer

Beautiful and useful! That is a great combination.

lucy

the handstitching is marvelous! I bet doing it that way was satisfying and meditative.

Asiye

you sound like you getting settled in, which is very nice. simple is definitely the way forward i agree with you. stuff always seems to find their way into my life, been fairly good about it lately. when we travelled i really was a champion of little... but since we more or less settled i am developing a pack rat streak!
your work is beautiful and intruiging as ususal

josie

Yes I hear you. Life is too short and I am not a fabric collector nor a photographer.
I love what you made. I bet you'll keep them for a long time.

Rebecca

Simple and beautiful, I love the look of those carefully placed stitches on the simple linen fabric.

Lin

brooke

Slow, simple, beautiful. I love it. Thanks for the inspiration.

Hallo,
