A saddle? I think this is what I call a yoke - the part between waist and hip? I think I like saddle better - though neither term really describes it really.

I love that cardigan - it's so cute! And I can see why it took a long time. Good on you for figuring it out after a break.

The cardi is beautiful, I especially love the soft little yellow, blue and red lines. Very Scandinavian to me. And it's perfect with the skirt. An outfit that I wouldn't mind wearing, especially with the snazzy boots!

Rachel

The cardigan is perfect for a little girl!

Lovely cardigan and skirt.

karin

That's a lovely cardigan! So cute, that combination.

The skirt is wonderful, you always capture beautiful photos of Dagny in action. I also love the sweater! I am forever winging it with my handknits and then wishing I'd taken a few notes...lol.

i really fancy making clothing for my little boy but he's always getting in a mess and ending up with paint or sand all over him and as it takes me so long to finish things, he he!! im wondering whether to or not!

What a sweeet ensemble! I don't know how you do it. I tried with both my kids, but they would not wear things I made.

I hope you have as much fun with these simple book covers as I have. They are quick and easy to make and once you finished the first you wonder if there are more naked books that could use a nice dress...
