Beautiful. I love how you added the stripes.

kathie

cute , she looks adorable and it is wonderful when they want you to make them things!
mine are teenagers and they are still asking for things :)
oh answering comments thru a comment I don't think is necessary
I never go back to a blog to read the comments or see if the author of the blog answered my question.
Or had a comment to someone's comment! maybe its typepads way of trying to increase their users ?
just a thought!!!!!

Rebecca

Oh it's so lovely, again. I must make this one, I need to go yarn shopping or stash sorting....

As for Typepad, absolutely ignore them. I am finding it harder and harder to keep up with responding to comments, my time seems to be shrinking but I definitely don't go back and read in comment threads to see if someone has replied to me and if your time is torn between posting or replying then I would much rather you posted as I love to see your photographs and words.

MamaCami

J'adore! I want the same for me!

Kirsten

I agree with those who have said that they don't return to a blog to post to check and see if the author has responded to a comment. As another typepad user I am completely frustrated with their new set up. You are still given email addresses so that you may reply privately, but it is much more cumbersome to do and if you've got a lot of comments to reply to, very inconvenient.

Georgia

I love the way you blog just the way you do it!

Cherrie

I really think that commenting is about giving to the one who wrote the post rather than to get a return email. If you are not up to returning comments put a little note up there to let people know just so that you won't feel guilty and they won't be upset. The top looks lovely and warm. Cherrie

anilia

so lovely!

Tracy

it's gorgeous. I love how the pink lines kind of waver due to the yarn weight fluctuation.

I feel the same as you about the comment stuff. I read alot of typepad blogs and while I understand why it would be good to reply to comments in the comments, I have to admit, I don't want to have to come back to find out if someone has replied to me, you know? I like the private email replies, and that's what I'll do until they pry it out of my wordpress hands or I install wordpress on my server, whichever comes first.

Sally

I love the vest. It is just so cute. As for typepad I think they may be a little crazy. I never expect a response but rather just want to tell you how amazing the things you knit are. Thank you for sharing all of your beautiful creations.

tiennie

It's adorable on her! Glad you kept it for her.

The new commenting thing has me bothered since I'd much rather reply personally to people than on the blog so I'm glad they've reinstated that option. Love seeing your crafty endeavors!

annri

I can see why she likes it so!

Amelie

The pictures of Dagny are so lovely. And it's great that she loves to wear something you made, that would make me happy as well.

sue

Well I can see why she loves it, it is perfect on her and she is just as gorgeous as she was in the other one too. I really like the stripes and the fabric knitted up seems to have a nice floaty effect.

domesticshorthair

That's so pretty, and I really like the placement of the stripes.

CreatureofHabit

Beautiful! I really need to make one for Floria.

Wordpress never offered the email reply option or, if it did, I didn't find it). But now it does and I still reply in the comments section. I prefer this usually because it keeps the conversation going or answers a question I am asked repeatedly. But, if I want to email someone, I just email them. :) Or Flickrmail them.

As always - great pictures!

Collette

I can definitely see why she wanted to keep it--it's really adorable and it looks so great on her. I'm wondering if the shape is too girly for my son. There's nothing that screams girl but it does kind of whisper it.

Eliane

so simple - so gorgeous! but i hate typepad. not because most typepad-blogs look lovely and crisp but because my lame line almost cannot open those pages, the comment section sometimes takes even longer... viele gruesse aus irland eliane

I love them both! You have a wonderful eye for color and texture. They look so subtle, soft and cozy. I must try one myself now.

Lauren

adorable photos! love your blog.

kaylynnd

you don't need to answer me, I just love your pictures. They are artistic. I like looking at art.

Linda

What a gorgeous knit, no wonder she wanted it for herself!

futuregirl

Is Dagny the cutest ... or what?! Such an adorable sweater for an adorable girl.

UK lass in US

What a gorgeous neighbourly.

I almost never remember to check back for follow-up in the comments. I do wish that blogspot that would get e-mail addresses, though - I only get the e-mails of commenters if they put it on their profile. If they do not have a blog either, I can't contact them at all.

Asiye

love this neighbourly too!
both of them are really inspiring, and Dagny models them fabulously! I have been thinking about making one- but i am not sure for who....
i agree with you, i dont answer comments online- i reply to comments by email if i have the adress. i honestly dont reread the posts i commented on, so will miss any followup comment.
i am on facebook for much longer than i blog- it was a tool to keep in touch with family and friends overseas- not to get to know people. and it stayed this way.
eventhoug i got a twitter account- i dont often use it.
i think you deal well with your blog, and when i did ask you for advise or had questions you have always replied and given me good advice- so who cares what they tell you!
