A broken 18.
Lately (as the slow person I am with lately I mean something about half a year) I have been thinking I should try new things.
I have been living here for so long and still never went to Yoshinoya or Pachinko hall, never been doing Karaoke... actually these things still do not seem to be urgent. But I like to try new food or ingredients, like okara (and I did experiment with it a bit - loving Unohana!) or arrowroot (くわい). There is still so much new to discover for me here in Japan, and you never know what you are missing out if you never try...
Today I made fresh arrowroot chips.
Peeled (tedious because they are so tiny, stopped after only four!), sliced, deep fried: crispy arrowroot chips.
Deliciously crispy and gone quickly.
Wishing you a pleasant day!
