Hope you all had a happy start into 2009?!
Thank you for your very sweet words via comments and email, I do have a bunch of really lovely readers!
I will keep being more or less absent from the internet (and Mac in general) for another week until kindergarten starts again. After that little break we'll be quickly approaching this year's TOKYO International Great Quilt Festival and I expect to find me in a quilting mood by then... hopefully quilting feels that urgent at that point that I eventually pull out the Liberty Leaves again, keep your fingers crossed ;)
As for the new year, no resolutions here but the one to snatch at an opportunity whenever there is one and to seize the day.
Today was the day for はつもうで (hatsumoude), the first visit of a shrine or temple in the new year. So we took a nice, long walk to some places near our town. Family tradition for New Year's Day.
