Catching up here... the winter holidays have started and I actually think this will be the first holidays I will have more time than when school is on. So great there are three slow weeks ahead of us!
It looks as if I wouldn't make anything these days, but I am, really am... all the time. It's just all so rushed and squeezed in between all those other things that are going on that I never find the time to talk about it here on the blog.
So, I have been making an Adventcalendar for Dagny, filled with little gifts for every day until Christmas.
The construction is quite simple, just a piece of wood I painted white, 24 hooks and two crocheted flowers.
As gifts I included little things girls love, like an eraser, a cute pencil, knitting needles as well as yarn, but also a few handmade items like a muffler for him and a hat for one of her Kewpie figures.
Another handmade little gift from the calendar... used some rather fancy material I had at home but I really like how it's looking so randomly put together.
